i have a wonderful life.

Hello all. I feel so much better right now than I have for the rest of these updates, so I hope you can see that.
Life at Cherry Abbey is looking up. We are starting to get into a good rhythm and that is certainly helping. We are growing more as a community and we have begun to become comfortable with each other. I think it helps that we have also started to become more content in our jobs.
My job has been very slow. Based upon my own memory, I think that my boss has only been in the office for a third of my days in the office. He has been sick and traveling a lot for conferences, but it has been kind of frustrating. I will be okay though. When January roles around and the legislature is back in session things will be a fair bit faster paced.
I have continued to watch Glee every week. I think that show is delightful.
The printer is always broken at work. There may soon be a mutiny.
22 days until I return to Denver. I am very excited for that trip. Sadly though, my boss at the foundation made a mistake when booking my flights and made them for Spokane instead of Seattle. That means I will be taking bus trips to and from Spokane for my flights. This should be fun.
October is also going to be a very busy month. The first full week will be our area director visit. I cannot wait to see what he has to say about our community. The next Wednesday I will leave for Denver and return on Monday. Three days later Anthony and Becky get to town for an impromptu family reunion. And then the next weekend is Halloween in Portland! October is going to fly by!
I have started thinking about next year, which is overwhelming. It will not be grad school, but possibly more service. We shall see.
I will tell you more about work later this week. There are some exciting things happening here.
